  • 3 cloves garlic minced

For the Vegetables

For the Noodles

For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds or green onions chopped

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Skillet
  • knife

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather your ingredients. Slice the flank steak or sirloin into thin strips and chop your chosen vegetables, like bell peppers and broccoli, into bite-sized pieces. Mince fresh garlic and ginger.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook your egg or rice noodles according to package instructions, usually around 6-8 minutes, until al dente, then drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add oil. Add the beef strips in batches, searing for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef to a plate.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat and sauté minced garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in soy sauce and honey, adding a splash of water. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return the sautéed beef and chopped vegetables to the skillet with the sauce, stirring to coat evenly for about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Fold the cooked noodles into the skillet, tossing everything together for 1-2 minutes until heated through and coated.
  7. Serve on plates and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
