Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemongrass paste or finely minced fresh lemongrass
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the vegetable oil, lemongrass paste, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss until they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor).
  4. Arrange the marinated chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 25-30 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  5. Once the wings are crispy and cooked through, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before serving.
