Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash 1 cup of fresh strawberries and 2 ripe peaches under cool running water. Remove green stems from strawberries and slice peaches in half to remove the pit.
  2. In a blender, combine the prepared strawberries and peaches. Blend on high for about 30 seconds until desired consistency is reached.
  3. Taste the puree; if it needs sweetness, blend in 1-2 teaspoons of honey or sugar. Alternatively, add a squeeze of lemon juice if it's too sweet.
  4. Spoon about 1/4 cup of the fruit puree into a chilled glass. Add crushed ice halfway and slowly pour your choice of soda over it.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy the fizzy bubbles and fruity flavors at their peak.
