- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together 1 cup of softened salted butter and ¾ cup of confectioners’ sugar for 3–5 minutes.
- Mix in 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract, then gradually add 2 cups of all-purpose flour while mixing at low speed.
- Fold in 1 cup of mini chocolate morsels and ½ cup of toffee pieces using a spatula.
- Scoop portions of dough, roll into balls, and arrange on the baking sheet, flattening them slightly.
- Chill the dough balls in the refrigerator for 5–10 minutes if desired.
- Bake for 12–14 minutes, until lightly golden around the edges.
- Cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
