Ingredients

  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper to create a seasoning blend.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the seasoning mixture evenly over the top of each fillet.
  4. Drizzle the lemon juice over the seasoned salmon.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
