Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce Adds umami and tang.
For the Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Pepper jack can be used for spiciness.
For the Dough
  • 1 can Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough Can substitute with gluten-free dough.
For the Garlic Butter Topping
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Can use olive oil as a healthier substitute.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley Chopped.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add your lean ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Season the beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  5. Spoon the seasoned beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Roll each triangle toward the pointed tip, tucking in the filling as you go.
  7. In a small saucepan, melt unsalted butter over low heat, then stir in minced garlic and chopped parsley. Brush over the tops of the rollups.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. Serve warm with mustard and ketchup.
