Description
A refreshing iced tea infused with the flavors of orange and rosemary, perfect for summer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups water
- 4 tea bags (black tea or green tea)
- 1/4 cup fresh rosemary leaves, loosely packed
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/4 cup honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 orange, sliced for garnish
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags and rosemary leaves. Allow to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
- Remove the tea bags and strain out the rosemary leaves. Stir in the honey or sugar while the tea is still warm, ensuring it dissolves completely.
- Let the tea cool to room temperature, then stir in the fresh orange juice.
- Refrigerate the tea for at least 1 hour to chill.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled tea over the ice, and garnish with orange slices.
Notes
- For a caffeine-free version, use herbal tea bags instead of black or green tea.
- Add a splash of sparkling water for a refreshing fizz or experiment with other herbs like mint for a different flavor profile.
